25 Years of Savoring Sewickley
Mark your calendar for the Friends of the Sewickley Public Library’s 25th Annual Savoring Sewickley
Sunday, November 1, from 5:30 – 8:30pm.
This beloved community tradition brings together local restaurants, clubs, breweries, and caterers to share delicious small plates in the cozy, historic setting of the library.
The first Savoring Sewickley was hosted in October 2000. When he moved to Sewickley, Don Reinhardt, proprietor of the former Sewickley Café, introduced the idea of a food sampling evening to the Friends after coordinating a similar successful event in his hometown of Louisville, KY.
Savoring Sewickley has since grown into one of the most popular annual events in the Quaker Valley area. This simple concept of an uncomplicated and convivial evening of specialty dishes hasn’t changed much in the last 25 years. The fundraiser remains as much for our library supporters as it is for raising funds for the library. We couldn’t be more grateful for the continued success and support of this event.

All proceeds benefit the Sewickley Public Library of the Quaker Valley School District.
