Also, please see this letter from the Sewickley Public Library Director, Carolyn Toth:

Savoring Sewickley brings together a sampling of the finest local cuisine, pairing food and beverage with friendship and literature.  Savoring Sewickley, Chapter 14! was one of the most successful food tasting adventures in recent years.  We thank each and every one of our guests who attended or made a contribution.  On behalf of the Friends of the Library I’d also like to thank with grateful appreciation, the following establishments and their chefs for donating tasty treats to this year’s event:

Mayor Michael Kerr, Haysville Borough; Wayne Murphy, Edgeworth Borough; Councilman Tom Huddleston, Glen Osborne Borough; and PA State Senator, Matt Smith helped create a light-hearted evening by serving libations to our guests.

Unique for this year was music by Quaker Valley High School student Joseph Daval.  Joseph added just the right amount of subtle background music with his electric guitar.  We are most appreciative of the ambiance he added to the evening.

Grateful acknowledgement is also extended to the Allegheny Country Club, Sewickley Civic Garden Council, Sewickley Confectionery, the Students of the Robert Morris University PR Club, Joel and Maria Swanson, Melody Lockerman and George Crawford.  Each of their donations of time or supplies made the event that much more successful for the Friends of the Library.

Last but not least, the Savoring Sewickley Co-Chairs Yunsu Park and Chris Bichsel, along with the rest of their committee, can take their aprons off and take a deep bow for planning and implementing another successful fundraiser for the Sewickley Public Library.

We hope to see you next year!

Sincerely,

Carolyn Toth
